On May 1st, The Execu|Search Group’s Women’s Network met at the New York City Seminar and Conference Center for their biannual meeting. The theme of this month’s meeting was Office Chic: What to Wear to Work, and the group listened to two guest speakers discuss tips and strategies regarding dressing for success in the workplace.
The first of the two speakers at the meeting was Pamela Etzin, the founder of wardrobe styling and personal shopping business, An Eye For Detail. Pamela, who has more than 15 years of experience working for companies like Ann Taylor, Talbots, and White House/Black Market, discussed new ways to update your work wardrobe without having to overhaul your entire closet. The second speaker was Arielle D’Adamo, a stylist with personal styling service, Trunk Club. Arielle also discussed the importance of tailoring your personal style to the work place.
In accordance with our initiatives, the Women’s Network also selected a charity partner to coincide with the event. Members in attendance of the meeting were able to donate clothes to Rewearable, a green program created to provide sustainable employment for people with developmental disabilities.
The Women’s Network meets twice annually and participates in a number of community initiatives throughout the year. Learn more about our Women’s Network and read about our past events here.
