On Wednesday, November 13th, at the Morris County Chapter of Dress for Success’ Volunteer Gratitude Breakfast, Lisa Carver and The Execu|Search Group were recognized for all their volunteer efforts with the organization.
The breakfast, which celebrated the success of the organization’s Going Places Network, thanked all Dress for Success volunteers and supporters for an extraordinary year. Frances Cole Jones, author of How to Wow: Proven Strategies for Selling Your (Brilliant) Self in any Situation, presented as the key note speaker.
Dress for Success is an international organization that aims to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Lisa has been volunteering with the Dress for Success Going Places Network since its foundation in 2011, and as a firm-wide initiative, The Execu|Search Group has recently begun working with the Dress for Success Career Center Program. Through this initiative, Execu|Search employees offer support to Dress for Success clients in their job searches by providing assistance with resume and cover letter writing as well as interview preparation.
