As the job market leaves 2015 behind, we at The Execu|Search Group are excited to look back on the year with positive results! Our Employment Index is in, and it shows an excellent growth in jobs not only year over year for December, but throughout 2015 as a whole.
Compared to December 2014, last month showed an impressive 28% growth rate in new jobs. This staggering influx of hiring requests from our clients, combined with the 5% unemployment rate we ended the year with, is indicative of how much the job market is changing. With the unemployment rate the lowest it’s been since the 2008 recession and more jobs coming in than ever, we are optimistic about a productive and fruitful 2016 for our clients and candidates alike.
