The Execu|Search Group, a leading recruitment, temporary/consulting, and retained search firm servicing the New York City Tri-State area and Greater Boston, announced it has earned the #31 spot on Crain’s inaugural New York Business “Fast 50” list.

Crain’s New York Fast 50 is a list of the 50 fastest-growing companies ranked by percentage of revenue growth from 2008 to 2011. Companies that made this year’s list are privately held with minimum 2011 revenues of $20 million. Publicly held companies, real estate investment trusts (REITs), regulated banks, real estate developers, utilities, holding companies, subsidiaries/divisions and franchises are not included in the results.

When companies weren’t hiring in 2009 and 2010 because of the recession, many recruiting firms were forced to downsize their staff, but The Execu|Search Group didn’t lay off any of their employees. “During the recession when most companies struggled, we knew our strongest asset was our people, and that the economic state would improve and companies would begin hiring again,” said Edward Fleischman, CEO of The Execu|Search Group.

This past year, The Execu|Search Group opened new offices in Melville, Long Island, and Newton, Massachusetts. This paved the way for the firm to further meet their clients’ rapidly increasing needs in a variety of practice areas across the New York City Tri-State area and Greater Boston. Clients of The Execu|Search Group say that the firm delivers exceptional service. All recruiters at The Execu|Search Group possess hands-on experience in their respective practice areas, so their industry knowledge helps them to better understand and meet the needs of both clients and candidates.

In addition to the Fast 50 list, The Execu|Search Group has been named one of Crain’s “Best Places to Work in New York City” for three out of the last for years, as well as one of the “NY Area’s Largest Executive Recruiting Firms”.
